Bjorn Ironhide

Bjorn is a formidable Norwegian fighter whose past is marked by banishment. The reason remains his own. Ravenfjord knows the man he is now: difficult to kill, steady under pressure, and dangerous when lines close and shields lock.

At Saint Bega, Bjorn stopped the first alarm by hurling a javelin into Aidan after the bell sounded once. He later searched Aldwin’s desk and recovered the jeweled golden rose and the sealed writings that eventually led the crew to Oswin. When he found Hakon, Leif, and Ulf dead, Bjorn drove directly into the royal guards’ shield wall.

Rolf Stonehand knew Bjorn before his exile and remains his closest established friend in Ravenfjord. At the funeral, Rolf warned him against believing that survival proved the gods valued him more than the dead. Then he told Bjorn he was glad his old friend still lived.
