Ivar
Ivar is a Norse sea-rover of the Sea Wolf tradition. He joined during the pursuit from Hrolf’s farm, giving the rebuilt crew another experienced sailor after the losses at Saint Bega.
Einar Old Rope relies upon Ivar when sails and rigging demand more than ordinary hands. During the voyage to Saint Cuthbert, Ivar directed less-experienced crewmen as changing winds forced constant adjustments. He does not sail the ship alone, but he knows what needs to be done and can make others useful.
His prior voyages, family connections, and personal reasons for joining the Sea Raven remain to be established.

- Helped bring Oswin back to Ravenfjord.
- Worked the sail during the crossing to Saint Cuthbert.
- Helped force the Sea Raven through the river ford.
